The mission of the site is to facilitate the connection between guild representatives, and between guilds and professional quilt teachers.
No personal information or data is retained on this site other than what is immediately visible: Teacher biography/profiles and teaching engagements. This site uses Google Analytics to improve performance and reduce errors. No personal data is collected or retained.
Teacher biographies/profiles that include a photograph and text have been submitted by that individual or their representative; are published as submitted; no guarantees are made regarding accuracy.
Teaching engagements shown are from teacher submissions, guild submissions, teacher websites, guild websites, and data garnered from the internet, and no guarantees are made regarding accuracy.
It is REQUIRED that teachers who submit their profile/biography for publication on this site also provide a valid email address AND subscribe to the Newsletter for Teachers.

Email addresses will be held under MailChimp’s Terms of Service and will not be sold, transferred or otherwise used without permission. Email addresses are used to facilitate communication between teachers and guild members; to notify teachers of site updates; to notify guild members of updates to the sites and other features. Subscribers may unsubscribe at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of any email, or by contacting The Quilters Calendar at thequilterscalendar @ gmail.com
Payments for ADS or for a Premium Profile are processed via payment choice selected and no personal financial data is collected or retained on this website.
Teaching queries are understood to be INQUIRIES only. No guarantees of any kind are made by this site.
The Quilters Calendar and its owners are not party to any contracts based upon communications initiated via this site.
The links to other websites, for teachers or quilting businesses, are provided as a courtesy or for payment and this site is not liable for any content on any site linked. The terms of service for this site end when a link is clicked.
Uploading and publication of teaching engagements to The Quilters Calendar is privilege. Abuse of submissions will result in deletion of events and profile, whether paid or free. The terms and conditions of engagements that are acceptable and appropriate for posting to The Calendar are clearly stated on the submissions page. Disregarding those terms by a teacher may result in suspension of that teacher’s profile and denial of future postings to The Calendar. False or inappropriate postings will be removed and the user may be banned from the site. Demands for take-down of any information, engagements, profile or any other data are taken seriously and will be investigated as quickly as possible. Notices of copyright infringement shall be handled in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, here. Any such claim should be forwarded to the contact emails below.
By submitting a profile or biography (or updating an existing profile or biography) the teacher (or their representative) agrees to these terms of service in full.
By submitting a teaching engagement for publication on The Quilters Calendar the teacher agrees to these terms of service in full.
Every item on this site is copyrighted to The Quilters Calendar, including proprietary software. All content, the selection, compilation, arrangement and presentation of all materials, and the overall design of the site are copyrighted and protected by US and international laws. All infringements will be vigorously prosecuted.
This site is updated regularly, and new functionality is incorporated regularly, which may require your review and may create additional clauses in this Terms Of Service. You are advised to check this page regularly and watch for notices of updates to the Terms Of Service in future communications.
